I bet all of you are PINING to know what I got. Duh, because it's MY score. Well, I probably have the third lowest score in class but wakataiowwe heck.
Let's start with the statistics. Even though you all should know that already.
Highest in Singapore: 287
Highest in school: 281 (Tan Tze En)
Highest in class: 281 (Tan Tze En)
OH AND MY BESTIE LEANNE CHENG WAS ONE OF THE TOP STUDENTS IN SCHOOL!! WOOHOO GO LEANNE!! I LOVE YOU AS A REALLY REALLY CLOSE BEST FRIEND!! WOOOH! LEANNE AND SUDESNA -- BEST OF FRIENDS MUCH? WOOOHOOO. I can't wait to spend another 6 years with you beside.. my side! Yeahh!! Woohooo!!
Average in class: 269
Number of pupils in class who obtained 4 A*s: 13
Number of pupils in class who obtained 3 A*s: 9
So everyone in class had at least 3 stars WOOHOO!!
For the first time ever, 100% of the GEP girls had A* for Mathematics WAKATIEOWW!!
Now, the part you have ALL been waiting for. What I got.
*Oooooooh*
I got a measly 266. Stars for Mathematics, English and Science and an 'A' for Bengali.
{P.S. Measly because comparatively [with my class], it's not what I would call FANTASTIC. Liek, everyone seemed to have higher scores than me. Only one person was like, "Wow, so good", and shook hands with me. And thassit. So I just assumed she got a bit lower ['cos if someone got higher, she would usually shove her result slip in my face = humbly hold their result slip in a position where I can easily see their scores].}
Much to my dismay and surprise. I thought that if I were to get an 'A', it would be for English or Science. English 'cos I suck English all the way and Science because the paper was pretty tough and I thought I did it horribly.
But Bengali? Well, I won't say I rawk at it, but I'm not that bad... well, not worse than English, I guess. Wait. No. Actually, I am kind of sucky at my mother tongue. Oh, whatever, does it really matter?
I was complaining about my marks to my eld sister and she was saying that the main purpose of this funky exam is to get in a good secondary school, which I already did, so it doesn't matter.
Anyway, I got the scholarship, thankfully. My previous school bestie called me while I was listening to music in a jewelery shop and we talked for about half an hour and I almost got hit by a car while getting into a taxi. She asked me if I was offered to learn a Third Language because apparently, those who obtained an 'A' for their second language weren't offered. But I was, strangely. Maybe I got 90.5 or something, so they thought, 'Let's give her chance, eh?' =DD yeah!
Oh, my mum came to school with me and my sister was going home from university and the school bus stop was on the way so she decided to come too. We had plans to watch Madagascar 2 and I was SOOOO excited. But I think she was tired so too bad for me
Anyway, after our results, the three of us took a taxi to Plaza Singapura. Throughout the whole journey, from leaving the school to entering the mall, at least one of us were on the phone talking to somebody about my results. Or SMS-ing. Actually, to think about it, I was on the phone at least once every 20 minutes. Well, anyway, we ate at KFC, shopped at DAISO {that 'Everything $2' shop}, had ice-cream in Swensens and bought a webcam and rechargeable batteries from Carrefour.
At Swensens, I ordered a Sticky Chewy Chocolate Ice-Cream and my sister ordered (I think) Chocolate Crunch. Well, doesn't really matter what she ordered, 'cos the waitress gave her the wrong one! Homg, much? We could tell there was something wrong 'cos she and someone else were obviously "second-guessing" and they kept looking at the one she was eating. Finally when they confirmed their mistake, she told us that they gave the wrong one. My sister was like, "Oh, you gave me this one so..." and she continued digging in. I actually asked her to stop eating 'cos I thought that they might give the right one but no, they didn't even offer to. I'm not trying to insult their service or anything, but this is what they did - or didn't do, rather. PICTURES!!
Mine:
Fine, not a very good angle and a bit dark, but it's not my fault if I was facing the windows *hence the ice-cream's front is away and DARK*!!
Okay, and my sister's:
It may not look too appetizing 'cos it's half-eaten already. =S
EDIT: My sister was saying how 24 hours a day, she has to use her brain and think (yeah, she's always in some hospital doing her rounds [year 4 medical student]) and now, she has come to relax and de-stress a bit but she must still think about what she is eating! And saying how unjust that was. My sister vair funny...
Ohoh, at Carrefour, I saw this sign:
I was like, yeah, 'Lowest Price' and then I was like, "Hey it's like, 'West Price'!" Then I was staring at it for quite a while and then I was like, "Eh, why is it 'West Price'?!?" And I was trying to figure it out for more than ten seconds when finally it hit me: "ORHHHHH!!! LOWEST PRICE!! LOOOL!!" Homg, I that blur, meh?
Anyway, after Plaza Singapura and a little bit of THIS FASHION *love that shop*, we went to Serangoon Road to look for some earring and then took a taxi home. 5pm. I was just in time for the Ellen show. =DD
Anyway, now it's Saturday, 22 November, 3.19AM. Still haven't watched Madagascar 2. Today (or rather, yesterday), I woke up at about 2.30pm and lay down in bed until like, 3pm. Then at 3.15pm, I switched the television on while eating breakfast and realised that Survivor: Gabon was on air. I missed the first 15 minutes. Anyway, tribal council was soooo HILARIOUS~!! Thank Goodness frickin' Randy got out.. and with a bang. A Big Bang. I mean, humiliating himself by playing that fake idol was... sooo funny. My sister was surprise they could even contain their laughter for so long. And oh my gosh, Crystal is so sassy (well, at least she tries to be.. I don't really like her too much) and it was terribly funny when she was explaining her vote at the voting confession place and like, SCREAMING IT FOR THE WHOLE ROOM TO HEAR~!! Really, Tribal was really the
Wakatieowwweee, I still can't believe that Marcus hid the other idol, supposedly thrown away, around camp.
Anyway, I can't wait for the next episode. Kenny really changed the game by swinging Susie to their side and the power shifted from Kota 6 to Fang 5, just like that. Ohoh, and I love Sugar and Matty the most. Woohoo!
~sudesna
3.28 already?? Oh, guess what, I bathed at like 2.40am... ugh. But an advantage of bathing so late that at 3.29am I will still feel fresh! Despite the heat from the laptop and this and that.
Oh well!
