eoy party prepping...

hey all, so you might have heard that 6PQR are having a party tomorrow to celebrate the End of the school Year. The theme is something like

HOMG. IT'S THURSDAY THE THIRTEENTH.

Well, anyway, you guys have no idea how much time and effort I've put into this crap. Like, really. I was pretty sure the announcement I made in the CyberStudio was really crappy and no one really paid much attention and was kinda like, 'whatever'. So I was more or less freaking out when thoughts of a party like this came to mind:

No cutlery provided, no one bothered to bring their own
Only a few bag of chips, a almost empty table of foodstuffs
No drinks
And in the end, everyone's just breaking in their normal groups, chit-chatting, having their normal, disgusting, revolting, spaghetti or potato stuff and I spend the rest of the day feeling ever so guilty, sad and depressed, partly because the party was such a failure and unimpactful and partly because I didn't get to eat my nutella bread, excepting other foodstuffs to be there.

That would have sucked big time, right?

So with a 'lil inspiration from Heng Hwee (she came up to me and told me to remind everyone during class), I decided to send a message to every GEPer whose number I had in my phonebook.

That's 29 messages, excluding Heng Hwee. No, wait, 30. I sent the message to the old phone number of Allison so I had to send again. And don't even get me started when it comes to questions and queries from y'all. Okayy, fine, not soo much lah but still more than 10. =P

In the end I had to go on this major deleting spree and there's nothing I hate more than deleting messages, apart from laxatives. Yeah, I realised this wasn't the first time I've been mass mailing people (though this one was the massest). Some of the other ones were like (ps mass meaning more than 10) messages asking how the PSLE exam was, or like, about the graduation party and stupid stuff like that.

I'm glad I don't have to pay for my messages. Yes, 500 messages free = free for me. 'Cos no matter how hard I try, i'll never reach 500. Actually, my phone plan is really good 'cos incoming free and a whooping 300 minutes outgoing free. But 'cos of that (and caller ID $5), I have to pay like $45 every time lor. And the most recent bill... was just scary.

I spent like, freaking $90 ($89.88).

And the other time I spent (before I upgraded my plan from 100 mins outgoing free to 300 mins), I think I spent about $30-$40 and I felt like, soo guilty and stuff. Ugh. Calls & messages in Malaysia ('cos I went to Sarawak, right?) amount to only $23. Yeah, lah, only. 'Cos I thought it would be 45 dollars or something. Then can explain my 90 dollars.

Wait. Homg, lah. What kinda crap is this? Okay so the mio plan thing is $40.50 and caller ID is $5. And there's this subscription (Pay-As-U-Roam) which is free. BUT THIS "FREE" THING GOT 20% SURCHARGE OF $5.70. LIKE, EXCUSEE ME?? Weird, right?? Ugh. Fine, lah. Okay, so take that away ($51.20) and you get $38.68.

ooh. I made a video call of a minute. Take $0.15 away then.

HOMG. Wah liao, after this certain incident of spending about 7 dollars using the broadband on my phone, I NEVER even PRESS that button to get access to the net on my phone purposely before. But before that bill, I was like, madly using it. And I clearly remember searching for the 'Give it 2 me' video on my phone and watching the first few seconds until Kimberly screamed, "WHY ARE YOU WASTING YOUR MONEY??" Wtv. I think this was before the bill or else why is there a $9.86 next to Broadband MobileData Usage?? LIKE, HELLO, WHAT KINDA INJUSTICE IS THAT, LOR? Take that away.

And that's it. So that explains it.

Dad was like, Wow, this month's bill is very high. Mm. *sighs* Nevermind. He look a bit... sad, for some reason.

Okay, anyway, I've been like, talking to all the people online who were involved in the party in ONE conversation. That's more than 10 people. And I used to think this convo between 5 people including me was really messy. Thank goodness only about 5 or 6 were... talking. So yeah. And talked to Fan Jin too. And yay me, 'cos now everything's more or less settled - paper plates, cups, drinks and some food OTHER THAN CHIPS. =.="

Fan Jin made muffins! And Athira made brownies! (I know this 'cos now it's already Thursday but I'll just act as if it's only Wednesday)

Anyway, then Heng Hwee called me and we were talking about how we should write the message to Mrs Sng, asking for more free periods. Then while we were talking, Mrs Sng called Heng and they talked about it and turns out that the day's reallyy packed for Ms Tan's farewell and stuff.

So I massed mailed 26 people again telling them that we have only about an hour and timing is uncertain and stuff like that.

And I said that there were so many problems because it was Thursday the thirteenth.

Then I finally slept. I think I was doing all this crap since I entered the house (first thing I did was SMS everyone reminding about party, mah).

& my mother worked from 12am till 3am, making those thingys. Dunno how to describe.
