Swimming!

Yesterday (Saturday), I did absolutely NOTHING.

NOTHING. ZLICH. NADA. ZERO. UH-UH.

(Since when was I so spacey?) I woke up at about 1pm and had my breakfast. Then I had my lunch 4pm or so. Kirsten was talking to me (some parts edited):

15.46
Kirsten: i am eating lunch
             can u believe it?
15.47
Me: im eating lunch later
Kirsten: oh

*silence*

LOL SO FUNNY. Anyway, after that, I was watching episodes of America's Next Top Model Cycle 5 and I also tried watching Paris Hilton's new BFF but seriouslyy, it loads SO slowly so I was like, "What the heck". I was watching the second half of the finale when my mum came in and was talking to me about going somewhere so I closed the windows. HERE'S ANOTHER EXCERPT OF MINE AND FAN JIN'S CONVERSATION:

did you go anywhere today?

 sob.

LOL. Anyway, afterwards, my dad came home and after a while, he suggested that we go swimming. I haven't gone swimming in a L-O-N-G time. I thought at first that it was a very odd time cos it was pretty late -- SEVEN IN THE EVENING. I think the pool closes at about 9.30pm. Anyway, I was still quite hyper. And thankful that I hadn't had bathed yet. XP

Last time, my mum, dad and I would go to the pool regularly but we stopped. Once you stop, it's really hard to get that habit back again. So anyway, we were really wuite unprepared. AND I DID ALL THE PREPARATION MYSELF. 'Cos my mum was lying on the bed half-asleep (SHE SAID SHE DON'T WANT TO GO) and my dad was working on his laptop. So I found the long-forgotten swimsuits
and miraculously found the bag we usually take for swimming.

I won't mention how my mum told me where to look for them and in the end, for the swimsuits, came over and took them out herself.

Then I took out another nice nice freebie kinda bag I got from participating in this CNA green pledge thing. It's a really nice bag to take, actually. That bag was for Dad to put in his stuff. I had already put in his toiletries and towel in it. YEAH I OPEN YOUR BATHROOM CABINET AND IT WAS LOADED WITH CONDITIONING SHAMPOO, BODY LOTION AND SOAP BARS! From all the thousands of hotels my dad goes to. I bet half of them are EXPIRED BUT, OH WELL!

Then we went to the pool (everyone was leaving;we were entering) and then it felt so relaxing to finally feel the nice, warm water flowing against my skin. I can't swim, actually, but going to the pool so many times before, I had ADAPTED and learnt from weird way which makes me look like some duck waddling so that I could go from point A to B in the waters without walking on the bed. My dad says that the way I swim is a breaststroke. Okay, whatever. He was trying to teach me the other ways but I just can't do them. Especially since I was feeling soo insecure with the people around me, giving me the looks. For once. I crossed the pool without stopping even once. I usually stop once at the middle (1.60m) 'cos I don't bother to try that hard. That, or maybe I accidentally got some water stuck in my throat, disallowing me to breathe. I don't really breathe through my mouth, no way. Usually when both my parents come along, they would take turns to "supervise" me while the other one would go take some laps. Yeah, if none look after me, then I have to stay at the lousy 1.20m place and do nothing much or else the lifeguard would come and tell us... stuff. I mean, it's just really obvious that I'm a novice. YES, lifeguards are not there just to stare at the water and sky and in cartoons, show off their muscles and try to attract chicks, they kinda do their job too sometimes. =)

When my dad left me once (talking about yesterday), then I was staying at the corner of the pool and then, for some reason, I started dancing to 'Give it 2 me'. GOODNESS, YESS, I DON'T KNOW WHY IT IS STILL IN MY LIFE! Yeah I was singing the previous two lines too (If I'm against the law, arrest me. If you can handle it, undress me. >.>) and I was adding more dancesteps to every line and make it more animated LOL. AHHH SOMEONE GIMME A LESS STRANGE SONG JUST AS ADDICTIVE TO GET THIS ONE OUTTA MY MIND AHHH!

At about 8.40 or something, we left the pool and dad was telling me stuff to do at the bathroom (like, make sure at least someone's there, if you need any help then just..) cos i usually go with my mum. I think yesterday was the first time I went without my momma cos she's always free and I usually drag her along and everything. Yeah. I think I took a very long time. But when I met dad outside the gate, he said that he had just came out. I shall half-believe him.

We reached home at about 9pm, I think. I BOUGHT A CONE OF ICE-CREAM. My dad checked the country of origin. Whether it was from China or not. I felt a bit stupid staring at all the labels for a whole half a minute... just searching for the right label. Yay, it was made in Thailand. I couldn't care any less, though. We bought the $1.80 ice-cream with a note of $50. >.< yeah, they were asking if we had smaller change. But, sorry, no, we didn't.

Then at home, I just watched some television programmes and ate dinner (lol, I was wondering if I'm supposed to type breakfast or lunch) and then I felt SOO sleepy I SLEPT AT 10.30PM OKAY?? Goodness. And I woke up EXACTLY AT 10.30AM. 'Cos my dad was asking me about this wallet thing with all his office, home, etc, keys. I heard him talking but I kinda ignored him as I always do to people talking to me from a far while I'm sleeping. Then I finally *not heard* LISTENED and was like, SORRY! And frantically started searching for the swimming bag I took cos it was in there. I was searching for about 10 seconds just walking around the house and everytime I turned, I saw him behind me and even though I was not wearing my specs, I could imagine what he was thinking: oof, stupid girl, where the heck did you put my keys in. oof. gah. sighh.

And guess where I found it. Ugh, right outside the bathroom in the master bedroom and it was a really prominent place and I felt so darn stupid but AT LEAST I FOUND IT. =D (gosh, I always smile, i never GRIN.)

Yep, so I got to wake up early yay.

Remember, after end of exams last year, I was like, SOOO hyper and everyday I would post about the fact that it was the nth day after exams but helloo, PSLE IS OVER. And it seems to me that... well, we are kinda LESS hyper.

Strange.

NO! THIS JUST SHOWS HOW WE HAVE CHANGED AND GROWN AND HAVE BECOME MORE MATURE OVER TIME YEAHH!

Yup, I'll end my post with that
