hello hello again!
so today, i slept at 7am and I woke up at 12pm after a lot of trying of waking me up. Yeah, 'cos my mum said something like... I have no idea. But she said something and I was like, Just jump up abruptly and walk towards the bathroom yeah. So I did that. Just jumping up suddenly is SO much better than telling yourself to take your time and just get up with ease and stuff. Of course, while jumping up, I hit my foot on the coffee table. I slept on the sofa 'cos "my" laptop was on the coffee table next to the sofa types.
P.S. we were planning to go to bugis to buy clothes.
So I quickly got up, right, and I quickly bathed and everything and soon, I was ready to go~! While my sister was still putting on her eye make-up. =S so anyway, we left the house at about 12.30pm. We caught a bus to go to Wisma Atria and we ate this hokkein mee thing (or as other proclaimed by the receipt "fried prawn noodles") @ FoodRepublic which my sister is madly in love with... one large, one small. That's 6.50 and 4.50. I didn't like it that much so in the end my sister ate about half of it. That was breakfast!
Then we went down and I bought these chocolate croissant things from BreadTalk Transit at B1 and my sister bought a pair of shoes at Charles and Keith. Then we went to the roads and ate at KFC and then we went to This Fashion.
Okay, it's gonna be tough to tell you everything we did in those 8 hours so I will just tell the places we went. So at Wisma Atria and Far East Plaza, we went there afterwards yeahh, we shopped like A LOT. Shoes, earrings, bling blings, belts, bags, pants, shirts, necklaces and even a earring stand. In total, we spent S$267.50. "only"... from the number of plastic bags in our hands, I thought we had already spent about 300 dollars. Oh well. I bought a pair of boots at S$15! Like so cheap!!!! And my eldest sister was SOOOO jealous (too bad her feet are so big LOL so she always has a hard time getting shoes). We used 14 of those plastic bags which are used to hold the stuff inside! After we bought this ZINC bag (at 35.90 so exx!!) and got this bigg ZINC plactic bag, my mum, aka "The Embarrassing One", took out the nice ZINC bag and put in almost all the other smaller plastic bags into that ZINC plastic bag... and so my eldest sis had to ask the person for another bag! So weird. The shop was empty and the guy was weird. And we were laughing at him about some of the stupid things he was doing. Of course, in Bengali types.
So in the end, my mum managed to squeeze everything into 4 huge plastic bags. We left the place for good at 7.30pm. And my sis and I took the 4 bags as my mum had to go somewhere else.
It was so fun! And I loved it. And the whole time my sis was talking about marrying this rich old guy and give him a fatal injection and not caring about his kids and talking about how to even marry him in the first place and stupid things like that. Yup.
Then she was like, I can't believe what I have become =.=".
By the time we were halfway through the journey on the bus, my sis and I were dozing off and getting a few Zzzs and then my mum left and I had a sense of responsibility to wake my sister up when the time arrives and with that, my sleepiness disappeared! I held my head high in the carbon-dioxide full (ohmgosh, i think the number of people in the bus was more than maximum capacity) and waited for the right time, until... I decided to get a few zzzs myself. Well... anyway, we took the bags, came back home (homg, the doors were open, my eld sis was sleeping inside) and we rested. Well, I though bothered to get as many receipts and all the things out to calculate the amount spent. But I think the amount is a bit less than actual amount as apparently my sis had bought 2 belts not one but can't find the other one... Or maybe it IS correct while my sister is having hallucinations.
Wow. Have so much mail. We didn't check our letterbox for quite a while. We walked a whole lot today. Definitely more than 4 km of distance lol! Yeah, we were pretty much walking in circles. We actually revisited every shop! And at Far East, we didn't go to the second levels and beyond so dumb of us 'cos it's over there where all the clothing shops are there. =( Today was filled with laughs, except when my mum kind of upsetted me badly, which spoiled my mood for a longg time kinda thing. The only regret: didn't buy a cappuccino coffee from Starbucks. =(
Oh well. I have to say, it was a great day overall.
But we still didn't go to Bugis. First thing next morning then.

Shopping is the examining of goods or services from retailers with intent to purchase at that time. Shopping is the activity of selection and/or purchase. In some contexts it is considered a leisure activity as well as an economic one.

Right... I'd definitely pick leisure over economic.
