IT'S OVER IT'S OVER IT'S OVER IT'S OVER~!!
Lols. Actually I hadn't intended to post, but I accidentally switched on the moniter as I was looking for my file while repacking my schoolbag for tomorrow, then I saw half a dozen MSN windows open, one of which was Sudy poking me to revisit MM as I had forgotten to do so yesterday.
PSLE IS OVER~!!
PSLE is.. an.. experience? Crystal Lua was saying that it's fun. Don't ask me where she gets that. The only thing fun about it is when the individual exams are over. After every exam Ness and I were like, 1 less exam to go. Yesterday, before the Science paper started, we were saying that it was only 2 hours to freedom~. Freedom after several consecutive days of exams is very intoxicating. Euphoria~!! Hahas.
PSLE IS OVER~!!
My memory is on the blink. I can't remember doing the whatever-its-called (having temporarily forgotten the name of it) that we were supposed to do before doing composition, but I just remember that it was really easy. O.o Weird. The papers were more or less okay, I guess. There weren't any killer questions in any of the papers. (Don't ask me about any of the papers. By now all who have asked me about what answers I put for exam papers right after the exams have ended know that I'd forgotten all about the questions even then.) I took a really long time in my Science and Math paper though. (At least, longer than Nessa because I could see her fidgeting and her booklet was closed, and longer than Le Win because I could hear her fidgeting too.) Ness claims that it's because I stare out of the door/window/etc too much. (I stared out of it during English and Chinese too. Just not during compo.)
PSLE IS OVER~!!
I was extremely happy that I finished my English composition before time was up. During my prelims (and most of my exams) I can't finish. I didn't finish my Chinese composition though, and the news spread like wildfire throughout the classes (literally) that I didn't.
Random Person: Did you finish your compo? (expecting a 'yes' answer, followed by something like, 'it was so hard!!' or 'it was so easy!!')
Me: No.
Random Person: *insert look of blank astonishment here* You are deaaaaaad. Where did you finish until?
etc.
Then, by the time I got to the canteen:
Another Random Person: Henghwee!! I heard you didn't finish your compo!! (repeat at least x4 in the space of 8 minutes)
Yes. The speed at which gossip spreads is very scary.
PSLE IS OVER~!!
For once in my life at RGPS, my parents finally sent me to school instead of making me take the school bus, allowing my to have an extra 45 minutes sleep. (and I only got to school about 10 minutes later than usual. :P) My parents made me go to bed at 8.30, assuming that I would quickly drop off to sleep. Unfortunately, my internal clock wasn't as cooperative (neither was I), and I spent about two hours or so each night reading using my handphone light or just unsuccessfully attempting to sleep. My grandmother was shocked beyond words when each day I would come back home from school after exams and just crash onto the couch for about an hour or two before I did anything else. There were a number of 'subtle' suggestions to my mother to make me drink what Chicken Essence or whatever other concoction bef0re I went to school, but thankfully none of them were carried out. I was, however, forced to take some foul, vile-tasting, terrible concoction of something that my mother makes me take regularly whenever I get a bad sore throat. So, unfortunately, I wasn't able to escape the threat of concoctions completely.
PSLE IS OVER~!!
After the exams, I mostly just went home and slept. Except on Wednesday, when I went to Vivo instead to meet up with some old schoolmates. (I am very glad I am not in HCL.) I think my parents were extremely pissed when they came home and found me doing other stuff besides studying 24/7. Doing a 5-hour study/reading/copying/writing marathon on a couch using an exercise book, pen, (very comfortable) cushion-on-couch and Science PSLE Guide, then falling asleep for another 1 or 2 hours is not healthy. I woke up and I was barely able to stand, not having stretched my legs for more than 7 hours straight. (stretched meaning having walked around the house.) Sleeping doesn't count, as my bed doesn't sag (thank god it isn't a soft bed - I could never be able to sleep in it.) and I don't go to sleep with my back against a cushion, sitting upright with another cushion knees and the Revision guide, an exercise book and a pen on top of it.
PSLE IS OVER~!!
Hehes. Happy~.
