a long day

and that's very much true.

I left the house at about 6.03am [wait, my handphone clock is 5 minutes fast] and the bus came approximately 7 minutes later. It came quite early, and the usual people who takes 66 was not there. Thank God I use irisNextBus. The bus was quite fast and I alighted the bus at about 6.30. By the time I walked to school it was 6.30am SCHOOL TIME. So weird.

Anyway, there was no Indian Dance practice today so I went straight to the assembly line to see Sinead sitting there alone. The school was really empty. Anyway, we started talking about the day before until Yi En came and then we rubbished more and more until Heng Hwee came about. Well, the next few minutes were spent doing Chinese homework. Not me lah -- everyone else. I was then so bored that I attempted helping Evonne with her Chinese homework. I also had a small chat about what secondary school I want to go to, with a few other random people. Evonne wants Janelle to go to RGS. I also wasted my energy running away from Jaclyn. She was going to kill me, literally. Secondly, I claimed that she was gay because she said, "The only reason I support Obama is because he is for gay rights!"

"So you're gay lah"

Then I started running even faster. Firstly? I don't remember.

When Kimberly came, I recited about Jaclyn's two scandalist things and then Kimberly passed me her gossip magazin (Local Enquirer). Me and Evonne then did not-so-silent-reading of the magazine together and reading all the obsence, obsence things. And images.

After Assembly, Mdm Chong said that 6H had to stay back because they were so noisy. Then I shivered at the thought of 6Q being noisy because of "random people". During Mother Tongue, I read through the magazine thoroughly and was so hyped. And get this: the word "romped" was used in one of the article, and the definition of that word in that context was the same as ours when we saw it in Jaclyn's notebook --- "as the dog romped". I was so shocked and I was really laughing my head off reading the magazine. Then I read Aaheli's 3rd portfolio about Finding Nemo.

I was asked to skip P.E. because of my SYF Indian Dance on the same day so I didn't run but I walked around the courts with Nicole Ho/Richie. Then they had to play Frisbee, and me and Nicole just joined in, being partners with each other. It was very fun. Then we switched partners and I was partnering Kimberly and Nicole was partnering (PARENTING??) Tamisha. Then we played until it was 9am already. We went up to see Mr Seah already ready to bore our heads with Maths.

But I have to admit, I love angles! That or it's really easy to do (for me). Then we did some more worksheets and at 9.30am, left to Lab 3 to take our IT quiz, yes, in the air-con. Most of us finished really fast so we had early recess. We were dismissed 10 minutes early so we finished our food really fast and left for our class 20 minutes early. Then I realised that we were supposed to go up 5 minutes before the bell so I was a bit panicky but I saw a lot of people so I thought, "It's okay."

Everyone was crowding around 6Q, and no wonder. It is in the middle of the other 2 classes. 6Q is the best~! Anyway, I left for Indian Dance. I went all the way up to the 6th Floor but I realised that it was in AVA Room 1 and not Dance Studio. So I went all the way down again and went to AVA Room 1. Everyone was indecently in their shorts and blouse, but firstly, I didn't wear shorts and secondly, I was wearing my P.E. T-Shirt. Don't you get it? The problem with P.E. T-Shirt is that when taking it out (STOP IMAGINING), then it would spoil my hair and make-up!

Anyway, I'll skip the details. I was guniea pig, really. I was the last to put my make-up on and then the Dance Teacher tried some other way of applying the make-up and more things on the face and it looked really nice, according to my friends. Then we moved from AVA Room 1 to Music Room 4. Then I saw that everyone already wore their gold bangles. So I wore mine in the Music Room, and it took a lot of time. One of them was glass and it fell and broke. Nevermind.

After I wore my bangles, everyone was already seated in some semi-circle. I took a chair and seated at the extreme side. There, all the aunties was discussing about how to wear this ornament on your head. So, me being the closest to them, I had to be experimented on. The make-up experiment was fine, it didn't hurt except when the Teacher scrubs very hard on my skin with the sponge. However, for the ornament one, it hurt quite a bit because they put it around my head, and stick everything with hair pins, and they experimenting with all the pins, that's bad. Then we had lunch. I went to wash my hands to eat the drumstick and when I saw myself on the mirror, I almost collapsed on myself. Don't ask me how you can do that, with such a scary face, anything is possible. I did NOT look like Sudesna. Ask Hope, Tze En and someone else I couldn't see. They saw me when leaving for the real thing.

I had more hardships. For the earring, the stick to put through our earhole was very, very thick. Many people cried. I just beared with it and screamed occasionally and my mom's hand was in a bad state as I took her hand while my sister put the earring through. It feels nice when you squeeze something when in pain, right? So you can guess how my mom's hand was. I'm not joking or exaggerating this time. It was almost 5 times as big as my earhole. My ear was bleeding after I took it out after the dance and both ears were swollen. Sorry, is swollen. Ow. Then we transferred again from Music Room 4 to Tamil Room 1. We were all scared that the harsh rain would spoil our make-up.

Thankfully my mother and sister came. My good friend in Indian Dance didn't have anyone with her. It's just that if it is your own child, you tend to look out for them more than someone else and work with them first. My sister helped her out, THANKFULLY AGAIN (what is a synonym of 'thankfully'?). Anyway, we were in such a rush to leave for the bus, barefooted. I saw the 3 girls and Miss Ker. Seriously, none of the four recognised me at first sight. I was just staring at Hope until she realised it was me. And I wasn't wearing my spectacles. Then I heard Tze En. I saw a third body but I couldn't make out who she was. Probably Sarah, since she was so quiet =).

We left, with our over-accessoried self and waited for quite a bit until it was our turn. For about 15 to 20 minutes, we were standing up. My legs were a bit tired, and I was scared if I would be able to bear the pain during the dance. So I as squatting down at times, then my teacher would ask if anything is wrong and I would shake my head. So I tried to refrain from sitting (and spoiling the beautiful dress).

I was quite nervous, finally, before the dance, backstage. I was never dancing so officially before. It was always some Bengali Community dance and I won't feel that scared no matter how big the stage was. Anyway, when it started, I was smiling like crazy. Our dance teacher and teacher-in-charge keep scolding us for not smiling. Thing is, it is easier to smile and look all stupid in front of strangers than in front of your peers. So I think most tend to smile more at the real thing.

I seemed to be over fast. I didn't make any major mistakes, thankfully. But I noticed some other people making obvious ones. But that's okay. I was really happy and I would have been glad to do the dance again. I felt more energised. After the lights went out, this girl just sighed 'PHEW' very loudly and all of us were just staring at her! =) I don't think/hope the judges heard that.

Then we came back to school. My mum was upset for not bringing a camera so she requested that I go home and return the jewellery and clothing the next day instead of in the Tamil Room. Then we rushed back home in a taxi. It was not until we were almost reaching home that my mum realised that I left my school bag in school. So scary. Thanks to Kimberly, it's in the Tamil Room but I just can't believe I was careless enough to leave in school! I wonder if there was a lot of homework. I hope not.

So I am planning to go at normal time tomorrow (today) and go to the Tamil Room. It shouldn't be locked by then. If it's not there, then I would check with the General Office.

Anyway, I was in a bad mood at home and in no mood to take pictures. But I had to. So with me and my fake, fake smile my mum took a couple of pictures. Okay, a lot. Then I changed my clothes and fell asleep.

I woke up very late. Oh please, I slept at about 6pm so it's not my fault I woke up at about 11pm! Then I used 4 Facial Puffs to remove all the make-up from my face. My mum and sister was actually very scared that I might need to go to the bathroom before the dance or something. Becuase then I would have to take out everything, you see. My sister was even thinking that I'll pee on stage. Uhh.

But I didn't even go to the bathroom until I woke up from my sleep. Okay, so you don't need to know all these things and details.

My mum put lotion on my ears. You should take a look. I wanted to take a picture of the tissue paper I used to No 1. Clean the blood from my ears, No 2. Clean mucus out of my nose, No 3. make a lipstick mark with my lipstick. My lipstick was very thick so I just kissed the tissue paper and made this cool mark on it.

I BLAME KIMBERLY FOR MY COLD. Yesterday and today I was down with a really bad cold and I keep not bringing tissue. I was scared I would sneeze or something during the dance but thankfully I didn't. =)

It's more than 1am and I don't have anything to do (I don't know the homework). Please tag. 6Q, did we get our science marks back yet?

Yesterday (imagine it's not 12 yet), Aaheli asked me how much I think I would get and I was like "I thought we got it back already?"

LOL. First, I thought we didn't DO any English Paper but now it's worse. First I forget, then I hallucinate. :S
