When I got up this morning, the first thing I did was to check the score of the Netherlands V Romania and Italy V France matches.

I looked at the Italy V France one.

THE DUTCH WON AND ITALY WON AGAINST FRANCE AHHH

I was so excited at that one glance (less than a second) that I got up from my chair screaming and jumping and my hands were shaking and I was acting EXACTLY like Russian Yelena Isinbayeva when she... erm. If you watch Channel 5's Beijing Olympics advertisement with the background music 'Dream on' and the quote, then you would know. And at the impact of me suddenly jumping up, my rolling chair flung backwards at least one metre. Ask my sister. She just stared at me from one end of the hall, who was silently reading her book, and said, "Yeah that is sooooo exciting." She didn't even know what I was screaming about. Then when I stopped and calmed down, then I checked to see if what I thought was to be was really what I saw ('cos really, it was just a glance, I could have been wrong.). And yes. It was what I saw. After I saw who it was playing against....

ITALY QUALIFIES FOR THE QUARTER-FINALS AND ARE PLAYING AGAINST....

Spain? Oh. Doom. I mean, Italy forever is my motto and I have marker my calendar to stay up to watch the Italy matches (I didn't watch last night because of complications. I watch on the net, remember? And only my sis knows the good channel but was sleeping.) but, Spain is very good. You gotta admit. I just hope Italy gets her charm and charisma back to woo the opponent to defeatory (opposite of victory f.y.i.).

Sigh. I didn't go to a single country this holidays. I'm so depressed.
