Happy happy happy happy happy happy happy happy happy happy happy happy birthday Fan Jin~! That's 12 happys. And I typed all of them out. Oh, the trouble!
Ooh! So exciting. You're finally 12! o.o
AND I'M OLDER THAN YOU MUST RESPECT ME AND CALL ME SISTER SUDESNA/ SUDESNA JIE. Okay very random.
Congratulations! Yay Fan Jin who is always laughing and so fun to be with. She is very nice to her peers. If you beg to differ, then excuse her as she might have been in a very, very bad mood or just undergoing some hormonal changes or something WHATEVER LAH. Or you upsetted her baad. Anyway, Fan Jin always cheers others up. Get this. She can even make Leanne smile. :O
Today everyone must call Fan Jin 'Fan Jin' and not her tags like 'FJ' or 'Fanny' or 'Fanbird/Funbird' or 'Jinny' or 'Jimmy Fantron girl genius who always beats her friends in all the subjects in school and would become something great while her friends rot while being roadsweepers' or even 'Weightless moisture', for that matter. But I won't change my title 'cos it was written before 10 June 2008 HAHAHA.
:\
Fan Jin: Sorry for being 1 minute 36 seconds late in sending you the message. My handphone clock is one minute nine seconds slow and the message was 6 pages long so it took a bit of time to send. And I think it took me 1 second to realise it was alr. 12 and press the 'Send' button.
---END OF DEDICATION MESSAGE TO FAN JIN---
Soooo. On Saturday I had Bengali school. We were reading some text from this... textbook! The teacher asked 3 people to go up and read. After choosing the first two, she asked who wanted to go. Silence, of course. This nerd who my friends and I call 'Pandit' (written as pronounced) or 'Pundit'... as in expert kind of thing. But what we really mean as in those gurus who are very very old fashioned and dumb but very.... pure? Mmm. But he's a nerd lah really. Anyway, he was like, 'ME~!!' Urhhh.
He was reading. He isn't exactly brilliant, I have to say, but he's vocab is soo good. It's just that his oral kind of sucks. >.< Okay so he was reading and then my really really good friend behind me was pointing to his... urh... ass? LOL YES. =P PLEASE, HE'S PANTS WERE UNZIPPED! And this wasn't the first time. BELIEVE ME. I was like (Oh my.. I was about to say staring... urhh) dying in laughter but the room was deathly quiet and any sound would 1. be heard and 2. make me just burst out laughing. So I was stifling my laughter in me and suddenly, my friend behind me just laughed really loud and embarrassed herself COMPLETELY. As in, it's quite rude 'cos it seemed as if she was laughing at him being so bad at reading or something when that wasn't the case, you see. And she kept saying 'Sorry' and then I realised the consequences of laughing so I was pinching myself so that I wouldn't laugh. Then, I can't remember how but the whole class starting laughing. I think they noticed too. Then we stopped. Then someone giggled and the whole class was casually laughing again when the boy was going back to his seat. He was smiling and was laughing before too and he was like, "What??" Someone tried to signal and pointed to his pants but before he could realise his ticket to complete humiliation, I kind of screamed, "YOUR PANTS ARE UNZIPPED!!" I had to say it really fast 'cos I was probably laughing the hardest and I resumed laughing afterwards. The class was laughing even louder then, after I said it. Then he said, "Oh!"
LOL! Then this idiot told the teacher we were laughing 'cos he made a few blunders in his reading so the teacher said we shouldn't laugh cos of that, blah blah blah. I can bet you a million pounds she would have laughed too if she heard me (the laughter was casual, but still loud). She's not the very serious types anyway.
On Sunday, I woke up early for a change. But with my mom nagging 'cos we had to go somewhere. I woke up at 8.30 (IN THE MORNING OK?) and got ready. Thing is, there is this union called SMOU (Singapore Maritime Officers' Union). Union sounds like some political party against the government who is very forceful or something. Anyway, for the annual Family Day 2008, they decided to have the families go on the Singapore Flyer. Outside the Singapore Flyer was the.... funfair. Games, facepainting, manicure, tatoos... paste on! And magic shows AND ALOT OF THINGS Okayy. Yes, there was a stage.
We went there with this oldd uncle and aunty who are very close to us and neighbours. But actually, NONE of us can stand them. But my dad forced us to bring them along with 0ur 2 extra tickets. With 8 dollars, you get a ticket to the Flyer and the carnival coupons and lunch and stuff. That's super super cheap, considering the fact that the normal price is 30 dollars. SO not worth it. The ride was not excatly breathtaking. It was... worth 10 dollars. Yes. Or 15. But 30 is wayy over the top. But it's new lah so yeah. The ride was not as good as I expected. That's what everyone else said too. I wish we went on the ride at night. But when we were on it, it was cloudy at about 11am so.... not like sunset or nighttime lah huh so scenery was okay. My mum was freaking out and kept saying 'STOP GOING TO THE EDGE' and was really scolding us (my eld sister and I; my eldest sister is in B'desh) types. Vaiir funny.
I hated the whole thing. I was very tired and my mom was being very annoying 'cos of the old aunty. And the aunty.... she walks SOOOOOOOOOO slowly. Like when she walks, all she does is put one foot a little bit in front of the other and then vice versa. And she does that xxxxxxxxtremey s

It's VERY irritating. I felt like crying half the time. Somemore my shoe was a size smaller so my toes were bent a bit and it ached alot after an hour or two. I was just waiting to go back home and take them and my socks OFF. My sister also gave almost ALL our carnival coupons to her old friend and I was quite pissed. I tried out those game thing which is like you have to hit this thing hard and when you hit it, this ball would go up a scale. You know... and the person before me was very strong and hit max 3 times and I vaiirr vaiir weak so I got a lot lower and everyone was like laughing at me and it just put my mood in a worse state. Like BLAH. And my dad was on the phone half the time. Even on the flyer. I was planning to say how great everything was before the carnival but I really cant. But, it was a good experience. Maybe if the ticket price was lower AND IT WAS OUR FAMILY AND ONLY OUR WHOLE FAMILY andd and and we went at night, would I have not minded to go again. Minded... urhh okayy.
To get on board the flyer was very.... long? There were security checks even. Please, like someone would really wanna bomb the flyer? Okay okay fine possible. Then take picture also. Very long long way to the flyer. and must board the capsule while it is moving. People were carrying the aunty 'cos she walks so slowly and her steps are very... short. There is a small gap tween the capsule and the boarding platform. ><
Then I finally did something on sunday night. Some work. And watched the Austria and Croatia match. Yes, we dont have cable but lo behold, something called the Internet. It was super super clear and free and live. But not english. But after spending 3 hours looking for a english channel, my sister concluded that it was impossible to get a english channel on the web. Even though Austria lost, they deserved to win 'cos they played a hundred times better than Cro. but the goalkeeper was heck a lot good but the aust one sucked. Same case for poland and germany.
Monday.... went shopping. Woke up at 2.30pm leh. Anyway, we had to come back home for dad, who was going overseas. Then blah blah blah. Watched Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader? and it was very exciting and funnny cos the guy was super super smart and he kept going for the buzzer even before the host finishes the question! But for the million dollar question, the lawyer dropped out cos it was a health questions and he became lawyer 'cos he was "scared of blood". And turns out he didn't know the answer. Then we watched so you think you can dance? and got a few laughs from it. A lot, actually. Then my sis and I planned on going to gv to watch Kung Fu Panda so I said I would study extra today. as if.
So fun. I am sooooooooo following my study routine.
