Hello again! Getting quite free nowadays.
I slept at 5 on Monday. =P I woke up at 10.30 (I'm not sure naturally or not, I woke up to find my sister beside me, talking to my mum, so she might have been trying to wake me up) to go to the temple. Yeah so I woke up and my mum and sis were talking about how to go to Yishun. I was very unhyper then 'cos last night my sister told me (at about 2am) that her friend wants to go out with her so we can't go watch Kung Fu Panda on tuesday.
I was very upset because I just hate the way my sister cares so much for her friends and doesn't give a d*** about her sister/family. Or so I was thinking then. Then after my mum left, my sister was complimenting herself and saying how nice she was to go out with me and she told me that she had canceled plans with her friend for me and everything so I was bery bery touched. :S And bery bery bery happy.
Surprisingly, there are only THREE Golden Village cinemas showing Kung Fu Panda. We wanted to go to GV because we had a free ticket. Anyway, one had shows in the morning and evening (i.e. too early, too late respectively). So it was war between Tiong Bahru and Yishun. We chose Yishun because it was much easier to go there from the temple than TB [abbreviations galore... okay only 2 so far!]. So Yishun it was. Slot: 2.25pm
Then the three of us got ready and went to the temple by taxi. The temple is walking distance away, f.y.i.. And the taxi fare was a whooping $5. Yes, whooping, 'cos it wasn't worth it. But oh well. At the temple there were a few family friends there. 3 of them stuck together with us so the four of us (as in the three aunties and my mom, sis and I *count us as one entity*) went to buy the food and everything. Then some carp (i'm thinking of not using the forbidden words :]) things.
At about 1.20pm, I was bugging my sister to go to Yishun already. Bad choice. The bus was SOO fast that we reached the place at 1.50pm. It's fast considering where Yishun and Potong Pasir is.
We couldn't find GV at first but after contacting my sister's friend who lives nearby, we found the building. It was next to NorthPoint but we couldn't see it 'cos of the constructions over there. After we bought the tickets, we went to Burger King and sat down for a while, deciding what to eat when in the end, we just headed down to Macs instead and bought 2 Hot Fudge Ice Cream with Extra Fudge. Niice. But I couldn't finish mine, unfortunately.
From what we know, the ice cream itself is a dollar fifty and with extra fudge, it's an extra 50 cents. So with two such, we should be paying $4 for the whole thing. However, the cashier (who was the crew leader too) gave us back 70 cents and we were reallyy confused. Then he explained that it was an extra 20 cents (my sister thought that maybe he made a mistake). So.... whatever. Then when we sat down, my sister counted the change and said, "He gave us back 70 cents when he should be giving us 60 cents," or something like that. Then feeling really guilty, she donated it to the McDonalds Children's Charity thing. :|
Then we slowly went back to the building (McDonalds was in NorthPoint) and went to seat ourselves in the theater. My sister was talking about something in a malevolent sense and then said "F" and I was slightly taken aback and punched her on her arm. She was like, "What?? The seat row! (Then I showed a "Oh!"-ing expression) Oh my gosh, you really thought I said the f word??"
I just replied, "Er... yeah?"
"Ugh."
:| Well, now. We were quite concerned about our seat, whether is was tooo close. Turns out to be so. But the row behind us was quite perfect but it would be SUPER embarrassing if someone came and said, "Um, girl girl, that's my seat lehh." And and and my seat, 9 was supposedly occupied by some small fat guy (:P) but it turns out to be right. We got a bit mixed up with which seat is what number.
Kung Fu Panda was really good. I mean, my sister had a great time. Well, my point is that someone as old as my sister, had a good time. =P. She actually mentioned the fact that almost everyone in the theater was kids and she was like the only adult there. But well, she herself says that her maturity age was 2+. :S
It's just that every single part was very funny and even though it's quite expected and clique, it was a comedy, right, and the plot... well, to me, wasn't exactly the thing which attracts everyone to it most, it's the punchlines and humour in it. And it's not everyday an animation movie about a PANDA doing Kung Fu comes out, right? So yeah, the plot too was pretty unique.
We waited for a surprise ending but unfortunately, there wasn't any and we were waiting for... about 10 minutes? We were the.. second last group to leave the theater. Quite sad. My sister was thinking that the so-called surprise ending would be the secret behind the Wuxi Finger Hold.
After the movie, we went to eat at KFC and then headed back home. Can't remember what we did afterwards but I do know that we watched the Spain V Russia match and probably the Greece V Sweden match too.
The next day, I woke up at 2.30pm and my sister got up at 3 and with my mum, we left to hand something up for my eldest sister overseas and hence went to KK Hospital by taxi. Got a bit lost there though. Then we ate at McDonalds. Afterwards we went to Toa Payoh to go shopping for my sister's shirts and everything. We were planning to go by taxi but it was exactly five already so we went by bus.
Then we were shopping at bossini when we saw MUCH greater shirts next door at BSX. The men's shirts were SOO cool and MUCH nicer than the women's but.... don't even think about it. Anyway, they would be SO much bigger. I didn't buy anything from BSX but I bought a pair of socks and capri pants from bossini. With some more clothings, our bill totalled up to more than $120, enabling us to sign up for some bossini VIP card.
We went back home and... OMG. DUDE, I'M TALKING ABOUT MY MONDAY! OMG BAHH. OKOK
NOW I REMEMBER. WEDNESDAY I DO NOTHING BUT GO SHOPPING GROCERIES WITH MY MOM AND REALLY DO NOTHING. Gosh! SMTL~~!
LOL. Today I woke up at 4pm, feeling SOO guilty that I wanted to just puke. Yes, vomit. Like, I WOKE UP SO LATEE! Then I bathed, read the newspaper, did my Nan Hua Practice Paper's Comprehension, then Bengali homework. I wanted to watch ANTM and eat dinner at 10pm so and watch at the excuse of eating but in the end ate at 11 plus. So I watched The Contender Asia instead. Then started to CONTINUE writing this post. Okay Okay. Croatia V Germany. Germany is 2nd favourites to this Euro Cup 2008 but you can't expect them to do well in every match can you now?
Croatia 2 - 0 Germany
Ouch.
NO! UPDATE:
Croatia 2 - 1 Germany
Bring it on.

Alive and kicking @1.40am
I'm not watching the match by the way. Was looking at the live commentary. But can watch on the net. Found an English Channel. Sopcast ROCKS. It's like watching the real thing. Very clear. Live, free, distinguishable, English. What else can I ask for? Other than High Definition....
