EXCLUSIVE~!

BACKSTAGE PASSES TO FANTASIA 2008.

Very cheap.
Very cheap.

Okay. First, the apologies. I AM SO SORRY FOR NOT POSTING FOR LIKE, AGES!!!
But don't blame me lah!

I had so much done a.k.a. so many things to write about but SO LITTLE TIME. Time. Something we all need and DON'T have. Sometimes. 'Cos at a period of time I had FAR TOO MUCH TIME.

You know when.

Anyway, from Monday to Saturday I was kinda busy. YES FULLSTOP. Let's just get on with the Fantasia crap, shall we?

So yeah. Saturday (17 May) - Bengali School. Sunday - Portfolio THE WHOLE DAY *but I rested loads*. Monday (YAY VESAK DAY *rhymes*) - PORTFOLIO AGAIN I SLEPT AT THREE A.M.

I was quite calm and everything in the afternoon. Chaos started at night. Er... YES. :S

I was really chionging everything. I bet I have tons of mistakes in my entries, I tell you. And if it wasn't for my drafts, perhaps I would have cried *exaggerating* 'cos my portfolio so short.
HAHA SHORTY PANTS. The other portfolios say.

HAHA POOR ENGLISH JUST LOOK AT HER GRAMMAR. I say.

TUESDAY

So anyway, on tuesday I realised that I didn't do my Math and English homework *completed during mother tongue*. On that day, I was supposed to have my NAPFA during P.E. but I am unfit for any physical activities for 2 weeks, effective from 18/5. So I'm O.K. on the first of June.

Apparently.

Why unfit?

Well, the tip of my spinal cord *yeah the track the shiver always "runs down"* hurts whenever I sit down, as in, I can't slouch. Well... I can... it just hurts sometimes. And when I can't even get up from the pain after sitting down for a long while... it just hurts sometimes. My mom said that the pain would go away but during that period of time, it hurt like hell/a lot. Now, it's not that bad.

Yay. I am anyway really bad at my inclined pull-ups so I decided to just try doing some *can't even do 2* and as I got ready to start, Ms Poon shouted from a far, "Don't touch my bars, Sudesna!" 'cos officially I'm unfit, right?

Next period was Math. Don't remember, don't want to. =P Oh yeah, just collecting worksheets and doing nothing else.

Recess.

Science. We were in a computer lab and at about 11.05am someone *atra, I think* reminded me about going for Fantasia rehersal and crap so I was like, "OH GOSH YEAHH" and rushed up to get my bag, hand in everyone's math homework and my english homework. We met at the canteen *put our bags in the mezzanine floor*. However, after settling some of the things, I was very late so I couldn't eat as much as I wanted to *only ate one mango pudding*. They gave us water bottles. One for one.

ACS was humongous lahh. But apparently the other ACS is like, 590270237095723 times bigger.

Apparently.

That day was just technical rehearsal. So other than doing the dance, we just sat down watching the others perform. Sigh. I'm tired. Let's not go to the details. =P

I LOVED the Choir and their 'HO HO HO' song where they go like 'HO HO HO, AS MUCH VITAMIN B6 AS 48 BANANAS *SHAKE BOTTOMS* HOHOHO AS MUCH CALCIUM AS 55 CUPS OF MILKK. HOHOHO AS MUCH IRON AS 3. KILOS OF. SPINACH *lalalalaa* HOHOHO YEAHHH!'

No lah. It's just some Japanese song.

YOU CAN BUY THE WHOLE PERFORMANCE FOR JUST S$20 EACH OH YAYY!
That's cheap. I mean, the cheapest ticket is $20 already and you only see it ONCE, right? But the CD can be watched over and over again. But thing is, the experience is much better if you're there. For example, the sound. It seems to be coming from different places (esp choir has very good sound effects).

By the time we got back to school, it was 5.40, ten minutes off schedule *5.30*

That day, I wanted to go to Toa Payoh to return + borrow some library books. So with Wen Xin and some other band girl, we went on 157. Wen Xin and I went all the way to the Toa Payoh Interchange. She walked to her house and I went my own way to McDonalds. I spent like half an hour just eating so by the time I finished one McChicken student meal (coke no ice), it was about 6.45pm.

I didn't want to reach home very very late so I rushed to the library *a very long walk* and borrowed Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry, a VERY good book. I have read it before and I have the book but I think I lost it and I wanted to read it so I just borrowed that. Finally, I went to the library with a purpose. The other time I went there, I was loitering around so it felt really uncomfortable as if people are staring at me, thinking, "What is she doing here??"

Oh well.

I just missed the bus I needed to go home so I waited for a long time and by the time I reached home, it was 7.30pm. Wow. 13.5 hours spent in that stinky little school uniform.

(I finally remembered to watch Brainiac at 10)

WEDNESDAY

Okay, STML, I can't remember a thing of what happened in the morning but I do know that during Social Studies, we did NOTHING because of the missing tile painting girls. So we played LIFE.

I LOVE LIFEEE~!

Life is like the best board game EVER.

LIFEEEE

Okay, stop, Sudesna!

Then at 9.10am, Ms Lim (and Athira too I think =P) reminded me AGAIN about dance. YEAH YEAH I HAVE VERY BAD MEMORY. I ADMIT~! So firstly, I took all my things from under my table to my locker. Hah, I didn't forget that, did I now? Then I rushed up to the 6th storey as we had to meet in AV Room 2. That day was the full dress rehearsal.

So we wore our costume... 5 pieces! And the make and ornaments worn are very... everything just takes along time. But on that day, we just did the main things. All of us (Indian dancers) could choose what food we want. We had 4 choices: McChicken Meal (my choice), Chicken nuggets, special vegetarian meal, and something else - which I can't remember. =.="

I met the other 6PQR girls and they were all eating my fries~! I think I ate only 1/4 of it. Okay, that's a lot but nevermind. Then we talked some crap and the strings girls left to change to their costume. Got on the bus. Sat on the very comfy seats of the auditorium. Yawn. Crap things lah.

(Okay, this is a very lousy backstage trip but oh well)

It was really boring actually. Yeah, the performances are eye candy but most of the time is set upping. So yeah.

*~SKIP~*

Came back home. Crap things.

THURSDAY

HOLIDAY.

YAY YAY.

Okay Okay.

They all rhymed. I meant to right 'Okay, that rhymes' but when I wrote 'Okay', I realised that that rhymes too~!

Anyway, I woke up at about 10, I think. I wasn't sure of the time when the teachers were gonna have their lunch. I was planning to go to the Parents Teachers Conference with my mom (my dad has to date never attended any). I called Heng Hwee to ask but she didn't know so I called Kimbore and she told me that it was from 11.30am to 12.30pm. So my mom and I decided to go there after the lunch break. We took 66 to school and half way I realised that I didn't photocopy my mid yr results to certify and everything. So I stopovered at Coronation Plaza to photocopy. 10cents for each copy but if you have more than 3 things to photocopy, it's 5 cents each. VERY stupid of them. No offence but I can photocopy 4 things for 20 but 2 things for 20 too~!

And since we didn't have anything else to copy, we only copied 2 things. =.="

Then we were looking around the place and I was bugging my mum to go to school already so finally we reached school at about 1pm. The queue for Ms Lim was the longest, Mrs Sng was not present at the time of arrival and Mr Seah was in another classroom so we went to Mdm Lim first. So she recommended some books and we bought them at the bookshop afterwards. Then to Mrs Sng who also didn't say that much, just to be more careful. Then I forced my mom, literally pulling her and pushing her (ask Sristi, she saw everything) so that she would go to the other teachers. But I could only convince her to go to mr Seah 'cos she was like 'What's the use of going to Ms Lim... SS is not even tested in PSLE!". Grrr.

Then mr Seah started complimenting me and didn't say anything about how I could improve so my mom was like "Are you happy now? See, no use going lahh." Of course, she didn't exactly say that stupid.

And I saw Athiraaaaaa. I thought she was a mother at first. =P. Wait. She is, right?

IGNORE ME. My mom is very weird. I always have to force her to go to these meetings. Last year, I was so sick and tired so I was like, "OKAY DONT GO!!" Thing is, she doesn't want to hear about my strengths or anything (teachers usually drone on and on about how good the pupil is). Instead, she wants to her how I can improve and what my weaknesses are and crap. Sooooo. And my mom also pity the teachers 'cos they have to talk and talk and talk SOOOO MUCH. She kept commenting about how the other teachers were just talking and talking while we were waiting for Mdm Lim.

We finished at 2pm and headed back home. I don't know how time passes. It just does away, WHOOSH. I tried watching american idol but the first part was far too boring. sigh.

FRIDAY

Those who are involved in Fantasia need not come to school on Friday but I had enough missing school so I atteneded school and for the first time, I remembered myself to go for Indain Dance (Clap! MUST CLAP!).

OKOK I continue later.

till then.
