Hey people, I was planning to post yesterday but since the past few days, my Internet connection was r-e-a-l-l-y s-l-o-w. Actually, it would NEVER load, no matter what. No, it would half load the page and leave the rest to... I don't know who.
For example, when I go on MM, only the sidebar would come and only until 'Daily Feed'. And the posts don't show so I don't know if anyone posted after Hope's post. The only two pages which would load properly is my Gmail page and superpigscanfly.blogspot.com. NOW, I DON'T LOVE MOZILLA FIREFOX ANYMORE. I KNOW PREFER WINDOWS INTERNET EXPLORER. Wow. I'm proud of myself.
Anyway, yesterday I woke up at about 6.30am to do my Bengali homework. =) HA HA SO LATE AND PROCRASTINATED. My Bengali school was to start at 9am so I had to leave the house at 8am. And I had a composition, comprehension, 2 close passages, sentence completion, 2 sets of words' meanings to write. All to be done in about 1 hour 15 minutes?? Wait... From this book, I also had to learn spelling and that word's meaning. AND ANSWER TWO QUESTIONS OF THAT STORY. =.="
By the time I finished, it was about 8.01am. irisNextBus said that my bus would come at 8.30am *NOOOO!!!*. So I did some finishing touches (I had yet to find out the meanings of the words of the story) and got ready, wearing a very unfunky* outfit.
On the bus, I learnt all the spelling and discussed the meanings of the words with my mom over the phone. Then I told her how sorry I am that I took an extra bus which I did not need to take and waste money (okay very little but still... can buy three and a half packets of tissue paper). Then she said that I would have used more money if I went by taxi. Hmm, good point.
I reached school only 5 minutes late. Hallelujah~! Oh, and only to find my nice nice nice teacher scolding people... and that dragged on for half an hour more. So by the time we started doing work, it was 9.30am. Yayness, I guess.
I got all correct for my spelling, word meanings thing and the section of making sentence with that word and my teacher put a star. Yay me... hey, and I studied very little.
Well, thing is, I was basically using every moment I had to spare memorising everything. =.="
There were very little people in our class, 'cos of Maths Olympiad. My teacher and my realllyyy good friend was like, "You're not in Maths Olympiad?!?!?!" Yeah lah I'm not so good. And apparently there was a test to get in. I have no idea what test. And the only person from my group of friends didn't get in 'cos she wasn't there for the test. And she got 96/100 for this exam where the highest was 98/100 so I betcha she would have gotten in and leave me alone talking to myself in class. Bahhh.
YES, THERE WAS ONLY 3 PEOPLE IN THE OTHER CLASS AND ABOUT 8 IN MY CLASS WHEN USUALLY THERE ARE ABOUT 13 IN EACH CLASS.
Stupid fools, they could just make ONE class by combining. Bleahh. School finally ended at 12.30pm.
I went back home and fooled around doing nothing when I was supposed to sleep.
The last family of guests left our house at about 5.30pm. YAY WE ACTUALLY HAVE THE WHOLE HOUSE TO OURSELVES FOR ONCE. Gosh.
Then I got ready for this Bengali New Year function. I was supposed to leave at 6.30pm with dad and my ELDEST sister (other sister performing~!), so that means I had to start screaming at my sister to get ready at 6pm. Well, my sister was wearing this dress which I thought was what she would be wearing at the function so I didn't scream at her. It was until 6.15pm when I realised she was gonna wear a SARI~! You guys don't know how troublesome it can get....
I TRIED helping my sister finding the stupid things like safety pins which were impossible to find without my mom. "This really sucks without mom." I said. "YEAH~!!!!" My sister sighed.
And dad screaming at both of us didn't help. My sister was desperately trying to put on her makeup without smudging anything or something. But her eyeliner kept.. erm.. like it gets on her eyelid and it looks bad lah.
So we rush rush rushed out and got a bus real quick. We reached the place at 7.40pm, 10 minutes late, but only to find that they haven't started yet. BUT THING IS, WE MISSED HIGH TEA. Bahhh, I was so hungryy (and my dad's cahrayxi about it ^-^)~!
There were 3 dramas. The first one.. I didn't quite understand 'cos it was Greek. Okay fine so I just didn't understand what half the words meant. No, 3/4 of the text.
The second thing was actually a dance lah. The 3rd... was my favourite. It is... a ghost story, and guess what? ABOUT GLOBAL WARMING TOO. Okay, partly. Indirectly. Oh yeah, and I could actually understand what they were saying.
The story goes like this. 4 friends are at someone's house and it's raining reallyyy hard *well, apparently.* The friends have nothing to do, and this girl is complaining 'cos even the computer's not working. Then blah blah blah one of them suggest to do other things and one of the things he suggested was telling ghost stories. Then this uncle, let's call him Mr. Funky, comes along in the house. The friends ask him if he believes in ghosts. Mr Funky says that, well, he's not too sure. And he elaborates that he had encountered with a "ghost" before. But he says that he would tell them later. And he leaves the house.
After a while, he comes back home. He then just starts telling the story.
For business purposes, Funky had to go somewhere and he lived in someone's house as a guest. The "man of that house" is... Mr. Dude. On the first night, Funky was sleeping, and with the fan on. Then, he heard someone waking him up from outside the window, and it was, he thought, Dude. Dude actually woke up from his sleep *it was about 3am* and told him that the surroundings is quite cold so you should off the fan.
Funky, clearing annoyed, got up and switched off the fan, and went back to sleep.
This happened for a week or so. Funky's like, "MAN DUDE STINGY" but also finds out that he uses a lot of his school's funds to give their students free recess food and Dude even spent $7000 a month for two of his students to get this soccer coach. And hence the school doesn't even have enough money to buy any cabinets or shelves to store things and organise them.
Afterwards, Funky was talking to someone and was like, "I don't see Dude around. Where is he?"
That someone was sighing, "He's gone"
"Gone meaning??" *VERY VERY VERY CONFUSED AND SHOCKED*
"He died..."
"How long has it been?"
"About a year and a half. It was about 4am when... *blah blah blah*. Massive myocardial infraction (I LOVE THIS WORD)."
*OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMGGGGG*
----------------------------------
Back to living room where Funky is narrating this story.
Everyone expresses there shocked and Funky talks about how even after death, he continues to be so persistent about unnecessary wastage. Blah blah blah. Funky leaves the house.
A few minutes later, when everyone was going to leave as the rain almost stopped, Funky came in, doing the same actions he did when he previously came. The 4 friends are shocked. "You just came in. You told us about that story about Dude. See, you drank that cup of tea!" "Yeahh, I was about to tell you in fact~!!"
Then Funky thinks... was the imposter... DUDE??
Then Funky becomes very funky and screams at the audience about Dude's determination and about global warming and about our earth and I really enjoyed it.
ANYWAYY, I came back home, slept, and woke up at noon.
The end.
